横スクロール (コンピュータゲーム)

横スクロールゲーム、横スクロールアクションゲームとは、ゲームのアクションを横からのカメラアングルから見て、プレイヤーのキャラクターが左右に動くと画面がスクロールしていくビデオゲームのことである。これらのゲームは、スクロールするコンピュータ表示技術を利用している。
