ハプロカントサウルス（Haplocanthosaurus "1つの棘をもつトカゲ"の意味）は竜脚類恐竜の属である。2つの種H.delfsiとH.priscusが不完全な骨格化石により知られる。ジュラ紀後期（キンメリッジアン（en））、1億5500-1億5200万年前に生息していた[1]。タイプ種H. priscus 、この属とされる種H. delfsi はコロラドのEdwin Delfsという名の若い学生によって発見された。ハプロカントサウルスの標本はモリソン累層（en）の最下部でヘスペロサウルス（en）、エオブロントサウルス（en）、アロサウルス・"ジマドセニ"とともに発見された[2]。
