ナビゲーションに移動 検索に移動テッド・ロバート・ガー（Ted Robert Gurr、1936年 - 2017年）は、アメリカの政治学者。メリーランド大学名誉教授。社会心理学の手法による政治暴力・紛争の研究が専門である。
ワシントン州生まれ。リード・カレッジ（Reed College）卒業後、1965年、ニューヨーク大学で博士号取得。プリンストン大学（1965年-1969年）、ノースウェスタン大学（1970年-1983年）、コロラド大学（1984年-1988年）を経て、1989年からメリーランド大学で教鞭をとっている。
1968年、キング牧師とロバート・ケネディの暗殺を受けて、ジョンソン大統領が設置した「暴力の原因およびその防止に関する国民委員会」に参加した。
