塚谷恒雄とは？わかりやすく解説

塚谷恒雄（つかたにつねお）は、日本の環境学者、経済学者。京都大学経済研究所経済情報解析研究部門教授。

専門は、環境影響評価、環境保全、中央アジア地域研究。工学博士。水文・水資源学会理事などを歴任。

経歴

1967年京都大学工学部]衛生工学科卒業

1969年京都大学大学院工学研究科衛生工学専攻修士課程修了

1969年京都大学助手

1980年京都大学助教授

1985年京都大学経済研究所教授

研究活動

中央アジアの環境問題、特に水資源問題、砂漠化、放射能汚染などを中心に研究を行っている。セミパラチンスク核実験場における放射能汚染調査や、アラル海、バルハシ湖などの環境問題に関する研究で知られる。
