バイブル・ジョン（英: Bible John）とは、1968年から1969年の間にイギリス・スコットランドのグラスゴーで3人の若い女性を殺害した正体不明の連続殺人犯。
- ^ 警察のバローランド・ボールルームの監視は1969年10月下旬に終了した。被疑者を全く見出すことができず、また、経営者から客の急減を責められたためである[26]。

- ^ 警察は当初、用心棒から得られた証言の方がジーン・ラングフォードの証言よりも信頼性があると考えていた。パトックが殺害された夜にバローランド・ボールルームを出たときに、ラングフォードは酒に酔っていたと伝えられていたためである。さらに、警察は、犯人は聖書から言葉を直接引用したのではなく、単に暗に示すようなことを言っただけだと考えていた。しかし、ラングフォードはバローランド・ボールルームを出たときは酒に酔っていなかったと熱心に主張していた。また、用心棒は実際には客の顔をよく覚えてはいなかったようだ。
