南アフリカ共和国中東部、自由州の都市。ドラケンスバーグ山脈北麓、標高約1700メートルの高原に位置し、ヨルダン川に沿う。交通の要地であり、農畜産物の集散地。南東約30キロメートルにゴールデンゲートハイランド国立公園がある。
米国ペンシルベニア州東部の都市。リーハイ川沿いに位置する。1741年にモラビア兄弟団の信徒により建設。19世紀半ばより、製鉄業の中心地の一つとなり、ベスレヘムスチール社の企業城下町として発展した。リーハイ大学、モラビアン大学が所在。

ベツレヘム（アラビア語: بَيْت لَحْم （Bayt Laḥm バイト・ラフム(標準語)、ベート・レヘム(口語)、「肉の家」の意）、ヘブライ語: בֵּית לֶחֶם （Bēth Leḥem ベース・レヘム、現代音 Beyt Leḥem ベイト・レヘム、「パンの家」の意））は、ヨルダン川西岸地区南部にあるパレスチナ・ベツレヘム県の県都。 2017年の国勢調査人口は2万8591人[1]。 経済は主に観光で成り立っている[2][3]。
