アジアサッカー連盟

アジアサッカー連盟（アジアサッカーれんめい、Asian Football Confederation）は、国際サッカー連盟（FIFA）の傘下にある大陸連盟で、アジアにおけるサッカーの運営・管理・普及活動を行う。略称はAFC。1954年5月8日設立。事務局の所在地はクアラルンプール。2005年まではオセアニアサッカー連盟（OFC）に所属していたオーストラリアが2006年1月1日付けでAFCへ転籍し、最も広大な領域を持つサッカー連盟となった。広大ゆえに生ずる諸問題等を解決する為に、AFC内の委員会で分割が検討されている。

- ^ アジアのFIFAランク下位の大会AFCチャレンジカップ2010の予選プレーオフでは、2009年3月にモンゴル対マカオ戦が組まれたため、ホームのモンゴル側が「寒すぎて観客が来られない」ことを理由に、猛反対した。会場のウランバートルの3月の平均最高気温は9.9度、平均最低気温は-23.7度である。その後モンゴルの主張が認められ、4月14日に変更された。
