アダム・ジョン・ウォルシュ(1974年11月14日[1] - 1981年7月27日頃)はフロリダ州ハリウッドのショッピングモールにあるシアーズ百貨店で誘拐された。2週間後、彼の切断された頭部がインディアンリバー郡の田舎の排水路で見つかる。彼の死は全米の注目を集め、1983年には本件を題材としたテレビ映画『アダムを返して/愛は限りなく』が放送され、3800万人に視聴された[2]。
