1960年から2017年までのモーリタニアの国歌（アラビア語表記：نشيد وطني موريتاني）は、歌詞は19世紀の詩人であるBaba Ould Cheikhの詩からとられており、曲はTolia Nikiprowetzkyによって作られた。1960年のモーリタニア独立と同時に国歌とされた。この国歌はほとんどの場合曲のみで、歌われることはないが、正式な歌詞は存在する。2017年に憲法が改正されたことにより、現在の国歌に変更された（同時に国旗も変更された[1]）。

قد موهوا بشبه واعتذروا معاذرا

Be a helper for God, and censure what is forbidden,
