Xerox Character Code Standard

Xerox Character Code Standard (XCCS) は、Xerox Network Systems Architecture の要素間の情報交換のために 1980 年に Xerox 社によって作成された[1]、歴史的な16ビット文字エンコーディングである[2]。ラテン文字、アラビア文字、ヘブライ文字、ギリシア文字、キリル文字、中国語文字、日本語文字、韓国語文字、および技術記号を使用する言語に必要な文字をエンコードしている[3]。
