MICRONIX Corp. is well known as a manufacturer of Japan developing RF measuring instruments, information communication equipment and environment-related equipment.
The headquarters is in Sagamihara city of Kanagawa Prefecture. But the substantial business office for development, production and sales is in Hachioji city of Tokyo.

Overview

In the measuring instrument group, handheld spectrum analyzer and handheld signal analyzer are the leading products. In addition, a high-speed programmable attenuator in which no chattering and spike are generated at the switching moment.
In the information communication equipment group, the share of ETC OBE tester, DSRC OBE tester and ETC/DSRC test system is 95% or more in Japan.
In the environment-related equipment group, EMC test system and electromagnetic anechoic box (shield box) are the leading products.

  • 1993: Developed a peak level analyzer MP1500.
  • 1994: Launched a hybrid system MHS500 series.
  • 1998: Launched a handheld digital oscilloscope MDS202.
  • 1999: Developed an ETC automatic inspection system ME8500.
  • 2000: Developed a ETC OBE tester ME8800.
  • 2002: Developed a handheld 3.3GHz spectrum analyzer MSA338.
  • 2004: Launched a temperature/humidity controlled chamber MTH861/865 and a handheld 8.5GHz spectrum analyzer MSA358.
  • 2005: Launched a spectrum analyzer for EMI MSA338E, DSRC communication unit ME8815 and EMI test system MR2300.
  • 2006: Developed ETC/DSRC RSU simulator ME9010 and ETC/DSRC inspection system ME9000, and remodeled ETC OBE tester into ME8800E.
  • 2007: Launched a handheld 3.3GHz spectrum analyzer with tracking generator MSA338TG and an electromagnetic anechoic box Taurus series.
  • 2008: Launched a handheld spectrum analyzer MSA400 series.
  • 2011: Developed ETC/ITS spot electric field strength measurement system ME9200.
  • 2012: Launched DSRC OBE tester ME9100 and low noise amplifier MAP301/302.
  • 2013: Launched a handheld signal analyzer MSA500 series.
