2019 TCRスカンジナビアツーリングカー選手権は、スカンジナビアツーリングカー選手権シーズンの9年目のシーズンであり、国際的に認められたTCR方式では4年目、新しいプロモーターを備えた最初のシーズンであった。シーズンは5月4日にリングクヌツ・トープで始まり、6ラウンドで争われた後、10月5日にマントープ・パークで閉幕した。

オフシーズン中、スウェーデンのモータースポーツの国家統治機関であるSvenskaBilsportförbundet（SBF）は、2019年2月6日に、スカンジナビアツーリングカー選手権の推進を担当したSTCCABが破産を宣言したことを知らされました。 [1] TCRスカンジナビアシリーズABは、サーキットとSBFと協力して、シリーズのプロモーターを引き継ぎました。 [2]
