シロナガスクジラ（白長須鯨、Balaenoptera musculus、英語: Blue whale、藍鯨）は、哺乳綱偶蹄目ナガスクジラ科に分類される海洋哺乳類である。

^ 当時はセミクジラと流布されたとされる。
^ 口の中には100人の人間を収容できるとも言われる
^ 34メートルというのは、およそ11階建てのビルと同じである。
^ 長さ3メートル、直径36センチメートル、睾丸の重さは両方で130キログラム以上、一度に約20リットルの精子を放出するとされる。
^ 西オーストラリアや南オーストラリア州など。
^ クック海峡やカイコウラなど。
^ 中国や朝鮮半島では、日本におけるえびす信仰と同様に鯨を神聖視する場合が多く、盤古台のペトログリフ（英語版）が商業捕鯨の痕跡であるという証拠もないため、雷州半島を中心とした広東から広西にいたる沿岸をのぞき商業的な捕鯨はほとんど行われてこなかったと言える。
