アメリカ合衆国の地理

アメリカ合衆国の地理（アメリカがっしゆうこくのちり、英: Geography of the United States）では、主に北アメリカ大陸にあるアメリカ合衆国本土の地理を概説する。アメリカ合衆国は西半球にある国であり、北アメリカ大陸にある48州と、やはり北アメリカ大陸の北西半島部の大半を占めるアラスカ州、また太平洋の列島であるハワイ州によって構成される。太平洋やカリブ海にもアメリカ合衆国の領土がある。「アメリカ合衆国」を地理的な意味合いで使うときは、大陸部合衆国、アラスカ、ハワイ、プエルトリコ、グァム、アメリカ領ヴァージン諸島の全体を含む。 [1] 陸続きの国境はカナダおよびメキシコと接し、海による国境はロシア、キューバおよびバハマと接している。
