ジェリー・バーガンジィ^[1]（Jerry Bergonzi、1947年 10月21日 -　）は、アメリカのジャズ・テナー・サクソフォーン奏者、作曲家、教育者^[2]。

略歴

学歴

1971年、マサチューセッツ大学ローウェル校にて音楽教育の博士号を取得。「Not Fat Records」の創設者でもある^[2]^[3]。

キャリア

1970年代にデイヴ・ブルーベック・アンサンブルのツアーやレコーディングで頻繁にゲスト・アーティストを務める。1979年～1982年のデイヴ・ブルーベック・カルテットのレギュラー・サックス奏者として広く認知される^[4]。1973年から1981年までブルーベックと9枚のアルバムを録音する^[5]。

ボストンのニューイングランド音楽院で教鞭をとっている^[2]。

複数巻からなる教育書『Inside Inprovisation』の著者。他にも、「Advance Music」から即興に関する複数の書籍や、「Jamey Aebersold Jazz」から『Sound Advice』も出版している。

ブルーノート、Red、Not Fat、コンコード、アトランティック、Label Bleu、エンヤ、コロムビア、Deux Z、Denon、Canyon、Cadence、Musidisc、Ram、Ninety One、Freelance、Savantなどのレーベルにてレコーディングを行うほか^[3]。Double-Time Recordsから多数の作品を出している。
