第36回世界遺産委員会は、2012年6月24日から7月6日の間、ロシアのサンクトペテルブルクで開催された。会場は世界遺産「サンクトペテルブルク歴史地区と関連建造物群」に含まれるタヴリーダ宮殿である[1]。2012年はUNESCOで世界遺産条約が採択されてから40周年にあたる。
