ヴェラ事件（ヴェラじけん、Vela incident）は、南大西洋の閃光（South Atlantic Flash）としても知られる、1979年9月22日にアメリカの核実験監視衛星「ヴェラ・ホテル」が南極大陸沖プリンス・エドワード諸島付近で「二重の閃光」を探知した事件。
