バロック・ポップ

バロック・ポップとは1960年代中ごろからはじまった音楽の様式。その特長は、クラシックの要素をロック・ミュージックの作曲や録音にもちこむことである[4]。バロック・ロック、イングリッシュ・バロック 、チェンバー・ロック、チェンバー・ポップともよばれる。ハープシコード、オーボエ、チェロ、フレンチホルンなどのロックにはなじみのない楽器が演奏される。
