好酸球増多症

好酸球増多症[1](Eosinophilia)とは、末梢血中の好酸球数が5×108/L(500/μL)を超える状態のことを指す[2]。過好酸球増多症(Hypereosinophilia)は、循環血液中の好酸球数が1.5×109/L(1,500/μL)を超え、組織中の好酸球増多所見が診られる状態である[3]。好酸球増多症候群(Hypereosinophilic syndrome)とは、この好酸球数が1.5×109/L(1,500/μL)を超えて持続的に増加し、好酸球による臓器傷害を伴うもの(他の臓器傷害性疾患が除外されている)である。
