タラチネボラ

タラチネボラ（垂乳根法螺、学名：Livonia (Livonia) mammilla）は、ガクフボラ科に分類される海産の巻貝の一種。最大で300mm (30cm) ほどになるオーストラリアの固有種。タラチネボラ属 Livonia のタイプ種で、この属名はリヴォニアの綴りと同じであるが、その由来は属の原記載には記されていない。種小名の mammilla [mamilla] はラテン語で乳房・乳首の意で、和名とともに殻頂が乳頭状に突出した殻形に因む。
