この項目では、2010年6月2日に開催された野球のメジャーリーグベースボール（MLB）公式戦・全14試合のうち[1]、アメリカ合衆国ミシガン州デトロイトのコメリカ・パークで行われたデトロイト・タイガース対クリーブランド・インディアンスの一戦について述べる。
注釈
- ^ 特定の選手の存在によって審判が出場を制限されるというのは異例で、他には投手のランディ・ウルフが登板する試合では彼の兄で審判員のジムは球審ができないというものがあるくらいである。なおジムは、この "幻の完全試合" では二塁塁審を務めている。
- ^ 年間3度の完全試合はこの2年後の2012年に、フィリップ・ハンバーとマット・ケイン、そしてフェリックス・ヘルナンデスがそれぞれ達成したことで記録された。3人目となったヘルナンデスはガララーガと同じベネズエラ出身で、同国出身選手による完全試合達成は史上初だった。
