ルーシー (アウストラロピテクス)

ルーシー（Lucy）とは、エチオピア北東部ハダール村付近で1974年11月24日に発見された318万年前の化石人骨[1]。アウストラロピテクス・アファレンシス（アファール猿人）の中で最初期に発見されたもののひとつであり、全身の約40%にあたる骨がまとまって見つかったという資料上の貴重さから、広く知られている。
