単身税

単身税（たんしんぜい、英：Bachelor tax）または独身税（どくしんぜい）とは、少子化問題に対して未婚者を課税標準とするような税制を揶揄、非難する言葉[1][2][3]。少子化対策は、国家の存亡に関わる最重要課題であり、近代まではそのような人頭税に国民の思想を誘導する効果が見られた[4]が、その名称での租税が実際に法制化されたことはない。
