クツコムシ目

クツコムシ目(口籠虫目、学名:Ricinulei) は、鋏角亜門クモガタ綱に属する節足動物の分類群である。クツコムシ(クツコムシ類、ricinuleid)と総称され、節腹類とも言う。小さくずんぐりしたクモに似た姿で、硬い外骨格を持つ。最大の特徴は、前端部に頭蓋(とうがい)と呼ばれる、自動車のボンネットに似た可動式の蓋を持つことである。この蓋は口と鋏角を上から覆うことができる。
