Coelum Stellatum Christianum

Schiller's 'Christian Starry Heavens' was the the author's attempt at replacing classical (pagan) constellation figures with Christian counterparts. This celestial atlas was produced in two versions, here bound together. The first shows the constellations and figures as they would have been seen by an eye looking down toward Earth from the heavens. The second is the 'concave' version, with the maps as you would see them looking up from the earth, and includes only stars, without constellation figures
