He went on to have a duet with Elias, who turned on his ageing rival and hit him with a huge punch.
Jarrett was then eliminated after having a guitar smashed around the back of his head.
While his stint in the ring did not last long, it was still an iconic moment in recent years.
The 51-year-old is known as one of the most iconic Intercontinental Champion title holders ever.

Meanwhile, WWE legend Kurt Angle also made an appearance in the Royal Rumble.
He was thrown over the top rope in a short space of time by Shinsuke Nakamura.
And NXT star Jonny Gargano also showed up, and got rid of ex-WWE champ Jinder Mahal.
