A cricket match is played between Hunsdonbury Club and Royal Artillery at Hunsdonbury, Hertfordshire on 25 July 1857. This image was taken after Fenton returned from documenting the Crimean War, becoming the person to photograph conflict. He was one of Britain's foremost early photographers and established the Royal Photographic Society in 1853
