"Dispatches From Elsewhere" is an anthology series from creator and star Jason Segal. The story centers around four ordinary people - Peter, Simone, Janice, and Fredwynn -- who are brought together by chance after they all respond to a flyer. Feeling as though something is missing in their lives, the characters are drawn into a game that unfolds in a serpentine series of events, taking them from parades to shareholders' meetings. As they piece together the puzzle to find a path forward, they come to delve deeper into a mind-boggling mystery hiding just behind the facade of everyday life and their eyes are opened to a world of possibility, whimsy and wonder. The 10-episode series features an ensemble cast including Sally Field, Richard E. Grant, André Benjamin, and Eve Lindley.

Hidden gem buried in AMC plus that is didn’t get the credit it deserves. The first episode is really out there and doesn’t make a lot of sense, but that’s how Jason Segal said he experienced The Jejune Institute when he wanted to make this movie. Stick with it, every episode will suck you in more, it feelings magical and the ending is unexpected and beautiful. A wonderfully made show full of intricate details and creativity.

I know, obviously, I'm coming late to the party, but, I finally watched this show and I thought it was amazing! Captivating! Brilliant! Beautiful! Even if you can't get into the story as it jumped around (like my husband), you can watch it for the whimsy and beautiful art, if nothing else. I didn't see the ending coming, at all, so, I'm glad I didn't read much about it before I watched it. No spoilers!

What an incredible show! Definitely will be a repeat watch. Until the end you don't really understand that it's truly you. Then you have to go back and see where you were the whole time. Just watch. You'll get it! Thank you, Jason and crew. You've found our truth and turned it into something incredibly powerful!

A fantastic show. Great use of camera angles and visual cues and a story with messages that chime with truths we should all be open to. It feels like an exploration of the human condition.
