The movie was very intense and the acting was stellar. I was surprised at the quality given the 75% rating on RT. I had to look away and block the sound of one scene but if you are looking for an intense art house style thriller, this is the one to watch.

The overall movie is great and you really have to pay attention to details, otherwise you won't get the full experience. It's definitely heartbreaking and a lot to unpack so make sure to really focus on it. (Spoiler) 5 stars just because Edward didn't show up in the end. I am so happy that she was left alone and miserable just as he had been.

If you read between the lines, every good story has a dark underlining! An art gallery owner learns that her ex-husband has sent her a manuscript of his latest work, "Nocturnal Animals," and notices disturbing references to her own regretful decisions. Shown through two different storylines, we see the world of reality and fiction combine in this engrossing shocker!
