Ryland C Honestly, I don’t know if this movie is getting enough respect than it actually deserves. This is one of Pixar’s classics! How can you not love it? Simple, but fun movie! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/23/24 Full Review Luke R This may be one of my childhood films, but it’s also one of my least favorite films. Plus there’s obviously some inaccuracies about the bugs. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review Jowell T it a cool movie I love it it so beautiful Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/16/24 Full Review Benjamin H Infused with great humor that blends well in this easily digestible, entertaining and pleasantly small-scale adventure, A Bug's Life does have story issues in the middle and it could have utilized more of the emotional strength and level of threath presented, but overall this was a fun time perfectly concerned with what it is Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Anay K Not the best film ever, but some good storytelling and characters. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/15/24 Full Review Daniel S "A Bug's Life" is akin to a beloved candy bar - brimming with delightful little elements that culminate in something truly delicious. The narrative couldn't have been more compelling; it's witty, emotionally resonant, and each character undergoes a satisfying evolution. In contrast, in "Toy Story," only Buzz, who embraces his role as a toy, and Woody, who overcomes his jealousy of Buzz, experience growth. "A Bug's Life" is filled with humor and endearing moments. The voice acting by all the performers is exceptional, and the animation, in terms of movement and intricacy, is outstanding. As a discerning movie enthusiast, I don't easily assign "10s," but this film undeniably merits the perfect score I bestowed upon it. Rebecca Long Observer Critics who write off A Bug's Life focus on the surface-level plot about Flik's individual perseverance ... But under this palatable veneer is a story about workers' rights. Rated: A- Dec 1, 2021 Full Review Owen Gleiberman Entertainment Weekly A Bug's Life may be the single most amazing film I've ever seen that I couldn't fall in love with. Rated: B Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Joe Morgenstern Wall Street Journal This animated fable teems with vivid creatures standing on their own countless feet. Jun 25, 2011 Full Review Cory Woodroof For the Win (USA Today) It’s about how any sophomore feature would go for a production studio like Pixar, not quite what came before but still very promising. Mar 1, 2024 Full Review Wesley Lovell Cinema Sight Disney has triumphed yet again and “A Bug’s Life” is easily their best computer-generated effort yet. “A Bug’s Life” is a film for the entire family. Both adults and children alike will be thrilled and delighted.
