Bucks Trade Jared Dudley to Washington

Milwaukee Bucks General Manager John Hammond announced today that the team has acquired a future second round draft pick from the Washington Wizards in exchange for forward Jared Dudley.

Dudley appeared in 72 games for the Bucks last season (22 starts) and averaged 7.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game while shooting 46.8 percent from the field and 39.6 percent from behind the arc. The eight-year vet scored in double figures 19 times, including a season-best 24-point effort on Dec. 26 at Atlanta in which he went a perfect 10-for-10 from the field (4-for-4 from three), becoming the only player in NBA history to have a perfect night from the field with at least 10 attempts and at least three 3-point attempts. Dudley was also a key contributor during the Bucks playoff run, appearing in all six games vs. Chicago and averaging 6.7 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists per contest.
