Interesting and timely, The Red Sea Diving Resort highlights the plight of refugees and casts those helping them in a heroic light, but it doesn’t quite deliver dramatically.

Possibly led by nobler intentions, the Israeli writer-director ends up cashing in on the mettle of those involved in a bold rescue mission, tweaking a terrifying reality until it resembles little more than a banal thriller.

Good actors, that’s what drew me in, story had potential. However it fell super flat. I fell asleep 2/3 in. Lost interest very early. There is no excitement, not inspiring...just very eeeh. It’s poor writing, this could have been an exciting movie

The Red Sea Diving resort cannot seem to get past wanna be status. The film has a very hollow core and I think it comes down to mediocre writing and directing. Chris Evans is also a weak link in chain. Evans never made me feel his performance was authentic and when he had emotionally powerful scenes It just looked like acting. The rest of the cast is great and I loved them all. This is just plain and simply a good film that just is pushed down with mediocrity.

Best Netflix movie sow far... The story of the Israeli mosad saving Ethiopians Jews during year another war in Africa. Perfect cast, a great story. Enjoyed every moment of the movie.

(Mauro Lanari) Chris Evans as Captain Isroamerica. Do we really need the daily dose of propaganda? Personally no, not at all. And for those who have doubts that Evans can't play better roles, I recommend "Puncture" (Kassen brothers, 2011).
