Greg Kinnear, Alessandro Nivola and Alex Hassell have joined Chris Evans in Red Sea Diving Resort, a true-life Mossad spy drama written and being directed by Gideon Raff.
Sir Ben Kingsley, Michael Huisman and Mark Ivanir are also on the roll call, which already includes Haley Bennett and Michael K. Williams.
Aaron L. Gilbert of Bron Studios and Alexandra Milchan of EMJAG Productions are producing the movie along with Raff. Principal photography is set to begin June 22 in South Africa and Namibia.
The project tells of the Israeli spy agency’s effort to rescue and bring home Ethiopian Jews that were trapped in Sudan in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Evans will portray a man who led a team to take over a deserted resort, converting it into a destination vacation spot while using it as a cover to rescue thousands of refugees.
