Dennis Quaid's son Jack posts hilarious photo posing with his dad and siblings pulling faces on Christmas Day
They say that Christmas can bring families together.
And Dennis Quaid showed that when he spends time with his dad and step-siblings, funny faces are usually the order of the day.
The 23-year-old posted some photos on Instagram on Saturday of himself gooning around for the camera.
Family fun: Funny face pulling was the order of the day in the Quaid household for Christmas - (L-R) Jack, Kimberley, Zoe Grace, Thomas Boone and Dennis
His father Dennis, 61, stuck his tongue out, while his twin siblings Thomas Boone and Zoe Grace, eight also went for some peculiar expressions.
His step mother, Kimberley, sucked her cheeks in and widened her eyes as they all larked about.
Jack captioned the shot: 'Merry Christmas, ya damn hooligans!'
Brotherly love: Jack, whose mother is Meg Ryan, posted another shot with his siblings on Christmas Eve, balancing his sister on his shoulders
The family were all celebrating the festive season in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu.
Jack, whose mother is Meg Ryan, posted another shot with his siblings on Christmas Eve, balancing his sister on his shoulders.
He said in the caption: 'She nearly broke my neck during this photo. In no way is this a joke.'
However he was all smiles for the photo.
Jack's twin brother and sister seemed in good spirits - recently their father Dennis revealed they were both in fabulous health - despite being given a nearly fatal dose of the blood thinner heparin when they were just 10 days old.
He gave the chat in an upcoming Allegedly podcast hosted by Theo Von and Matt Weiss, according to an article byTMZ.
Family update: Jack's father Dennis, shown in October in New York City, provided an update on his fraternal twins in an upcoming podcast
'They are perfectly normal as can be now,' Quaid said in the podcast due out on Tuesday.
'They are like head of their class,' the veteran actor added.
The Breaking Away star said during the ordeal that he started 'to go to that dark place' but pulled himself back.
Drug overdose: The Right Stuff star, shown with twins Thomas and Zoe in July 2010 in Los Angeles, said the twins were 'perfectly normal' following their hospital overdose as infants
'You go to remain optimistic,' he said.
Dennis married his third wife Kimberly Buffington in July 2004 and the twins were born via gestational carrier in November 2007 in Santa Monica, California.
The Right Stuff star said his family had a 'happy ending' and the hospital instituted new patient safety standards.
'I think a lot of lives got saved because of that,' Quaid said.
