EXCLUSIVE: Ellie Bamber will join the cast of Tom Ford’s Nocturnal Animals. The British actress joins a cast that already includes Jake Gyllenhaal, Amy Adams, Kim Basinger and Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Based on the novel Tony And Susan by Austin Wright, Ellie will play the daughter of Tony (Gyllenhaal). This is Ford’s second feature, following A Single Man. Production begins shortly and Focus Features will release in the U.S. as part of a world rights deal made at Cannes by Universal.
Bamber was most recently seen in the Carol Morley-directed British indie The Falling and next up is Pride And Prejudice And Zombies. She stars in that film opposite Lily James, Douglas Booth, Sam Riley and Matt Smith. She’s repped by Curtis Brown in the UK and UTA.
