Nathan Lee Village Voice A clockwork noir of diabolical determinism. Oct 15, 2014 Full Review Variety Staff Variety A strong and decidedly suspenseful murder melodrama. Jul 6, 2010 Full Review Sean Howe Slant Magazine The Woman in the Window is mostly notable as a dry run for the following year's Scarlet Street. Rated: 2.5/4 Jul 24, 2007 Full Review Sean Axmaker Stream on Demand It’s 'The Seven Year Itch' with a killer hangover, though one does have to read between the lines of the Production Code-imposed morality. Feb 4, 2023 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy One of the best of the approximately two dozen films directed by Fritz Lang during his two-decade stint in Hollywood. S R Better than average noir. Robinson is a little odd, but Joan Bennett was at her best. Good supporting cast as well. Recommend by Rich. Saw in tubi. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/03/24 Full Review Bill B Goofy. Mildly enjoyable because of the cast and a few twists toward the end, but definitely nowhere near a classic for the genre. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/30/23 Full Review Ben Mostly ok. Let down by the incongruous "twist" at the end that feels like a completely different film stitched on. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Regan D Beautifully filmed, acted, directed, and edited. I hated the ending! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Citizen K I absolutely loved this movie! It draws you in to the poor guys crazy situation where you want to yell to him to help him. When it ended I thought "now that's a movie". Pay attention to the banter in the bar after he drops off his wife and kids for their vacation. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/15/22 Full Review Luca D Classic noir style plot where it starts off with a stretch and they never call the police, they always just hide the body. Another movie that fell victim to the early technicolor instead of being shot in b&w. The whole movie keeps moving very well and it's quite suspenseful at times. The ending was a little goofy but overall it was a pretty decent movie and would recommend. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/24/21 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
