WWE officially announces signing of Australian tag team TMDK

WWE.com

Heralding the beginning of a new series of signing announcements, WWE today confirmed new contracts for a pair of talents who've been rumored on their way to Orlando for a little while now.

Australian tag team The Mighty Don't Kneel (TMDK) are most famous for their work in Pro Wrestling NOAH, the Japanese promotion with whom Hideo Itami was synonymous, but have worked in the States for Ring of Honor (ROH) and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG).

Michael "Mikey" Nicholls and Shane "Haste" Veryzer, both age 30, were multi-time champs in NOAH, and recognized by the Japanese media as the top team there - according to WWE.com, the first gaijin duo to be so lauded since incoming Hall of Famer Stan Hansen and Vader.

The duo is headed to Orlando in April to begin work at the Performance Center, and the announcement states it has yet to be determined if they will work as singles wrestlers or remain a team.

Difficult to not get excited about TMDK feuding with American Alpha and the Revival, though, right?
