In a story fit for reality television, Shane Mosley has just filed documents with the courts which he believes proves his ex-wife, Jin Mosley, was already married prior to their union -- and Shane's coming back to reclaim all his lost assets from their divorce!
As the story goes, Mosley's attorney recently got hands on a NY State Certificate of Dissolution of Marriage for Jin Mosley dated September 26, 2006. Shane and Jin were married from 2002 to 2011, so yeah...awkward.
What's even more awkward is that Shane has a lot a stake in this claim of bigamy and fraud which, if proven, would invalidate his past marriage to Jin, and obviously all the assets she received from Shane as part of their divorce settlement. In their divorce, Jin was awarded:
- 3 homes;
- A number of investment and bank accounts;
- 2009 Mercedes G Wagon and 2008 Cadillac Escalade;
- Income from Mosley's fight library; and
- A $600k lump sum for spousal support
It's also fairly well known that Jin was also awarded possession of several of Shane's championship belts in their divorce, something that has always irked Shane.
Hmmm, I'm pretty sure Chris Brown has a hit single warning about this kind of stuff, and Shane should probably keep focused on his upcoming circus fight before he gets Geno Smith'd [a broken jaw while not paying attention]. Just a thought...
