Kernel Summit 2014
The 2014 Kernel Summit was held on August 18-20 in Chicago, IL, USA. The format mirrored that of the last few years: a day of invitation-only discussion with a relatively small group, followed by a day of workshops. The final day consisted of relatively technical sessions open to all interested attendees.

Day 1

Day 2

Unfortunately, LWN was unable to attend the workshop sessions. Attendees to various sessions have posted reports; we are collecting them here.

Day 3

Many of the third-day sessions took the form of tutorials for tools like Coccinelle — valuable sessions, but difficult to write up in this format. Beyond that, though, this day also featured:

Thanks for the excellent work that LWN does covering an important event like the Kernel Summit. Well worth the cost of my subscription!
