We're now less than a week from the release of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and much to my delight there've been a lot of interested questions about the return of my all-time favorite turn-based tactical combat series. Hopefully this will help to answer some of them: Lead Designer Jake Solomon and Lead Producer Garth DeAngelis swung by last week to let me pick their brains about some of what you'll see next Tuesday.

The main topic of conversation is the differences between Normal and Classic difficulty, which makes it a completely different experience -- one which I describe as "the good kind of massacre."
