駅馬車

駅馬車（えきばしゃ、英語: stagecoach）は、通常は4頭立ての馬に牽引された旅客や貨物を輸送する屋根つき馬車の一種である。鉄道が普及する前に広く用いられ、駅馬車で旅行する人たちの休息の場所となっていた英語で stage や station と呼ばれる施設の間を定期運行していた。駅馬車を運行する事業や、駅馬車で旅行することを staging と呼んでいた[1]。
