電気けいれん療法

電気痙攣療法（でんきけいれんりょうほう）は、両前頭葉上の皮膚に電極をあてて頭部に通電することで、人為的に痙攣発作を誘発する治療法である^[1]^[2]。ECT（英語: electroconvulsive therapy）、電撃療法（英語: electroshock theraphy: EST）、電気ショック療法（ES）^[3]とも言う。
