科学者

科学者（かがくしゃ、英語: scientist）とは、科学を専門とする人・学者のことである[1][2]。特に自然科学を研究する人をこう呼ぶ傾向がある[2][1]。

- ^ 逸話：理論物理学者のリチャード・ファインマンは相手が大家や権威であろうとも意見が変だと思えば『いや、違う、違う。あんたは間違っているぞ』とか『気でもふれたか（You must be crazy.）』などと、つっけんどんな反論を行った。ロス・アラモス研究所に在籍中、ハンス・ベーテや、当時物理界の大物として知られたニールス・ボーアは、彼らの名声におののいて本音を言おうとしない周囲の科学者たちに比べて、率直な本音しか言わない若手のファインマンを気に入り、個人的な相談相手として起用していた。
