ベイエリア・スラッシュメタル

ベイエリア・スラッシュメタル、もしくはベイエリア・スラッシュは、1980年代にカリフォルニアのサンフランシスコ・ベイエリアで結成され、世界的な地位を獲得したヘヴィメタルバンドのブームを指す[1]。このベイエリアのシーンは、フロリダ南部と並んで、アメリカのスラッシュメタルやデスメタル発祥の地として広く認知されている[2][3]。
