Barnet 1-2 Shrewsbury

Shrewsbury moved to within two points of the top of League Two with victory against a dogged Barnet.

Clovis Kamdjo glanced Matt Richards's whipped free-kick into the top corner to give the visitors the lead.

Chris Neal did brilliantly to deny Ricky Holmes, but Izale McLeod slotted in the rebound to equalise for Barnet.

James Collins spurned a clear-cut opportunity when through on goal, but made amends with a fine strike to hand the Shrews the win.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Barnet manager Lawrie Sanchez told BBC London 94.9:

"We were disappointing today, for what ever the reason the home fans are not seeing the best of us here at Underhill.

"Performance-wise we weren't very good today, you can see the difference in class between then and us.

"They were strong the forwards worked hard and they controlled possession.

"I have got to apologise to the home fans for the performance."
