Books just published by Taylor and Hessey." wide-margined, untrimmed copy. Provenance: Inscriptions on front paste-down: "This book was kindly presented to me by John Taylor Esqre. the warm hearted friend, and literal publisher ... E.L.G."; on front fly-leaf: Elgin Louisa Gamerson, April 25th. 1820. Bequeathed to Tombolleson Decr. 1869." Two-leaf typed notes, with heading "Stevens letter, 5/21/32" laid in; explaining the absence of the additional errata slip in this copy. Binding: Bound in original drab-gray paper boards with a white paper spine-label reading: "Endymion / A / Poetic / Romance / Price 9s."
