Second issue is identified by details of gathering Y, which was revised during printing and reset, with signature "Y2" added to its second leaf. In this second state and first issue, new Y1 (pages 161-162) accidentally omitted two lines; a cancel Y1 was printed and used for remaining copies, constituting the third state and second issue. In this second issue, the last line on cancel page 161 is "In silent congress; or together rouzed," and on page 162, "Cleave not so fondly to your moody Cell" (see Reed, pages 35-37)
Some copies issued with errata leaf, often found inserted following page xx or at end of volume
"Essay upon epitaphs", prose, originally published in the Friend, February 22, 1810, included in Notes (pages 431-446)
