Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn were 'talking about marriage' before reported split

It's Joever. On Saturday, Entertainment Tonight dropped the bombshell news that Taylor Swift and her boyfriend of more than six years, Joe Alwyn, broke up "a few weeks ago," which was subsequently confirmed by People, Page Six, and CNN. A source told People the breakup was mostly due to "differences in their personalities" that became "harder to ignore," explaining, "Joe has struggled with Taylor's level of fame and the attention from the public." The source added that they've "grown apart," even though People reports they were "talking about marriage as recently as a few months ago." But Swift "didn't see them working out in the long run," People's insider added. She is not currently seeing anyone else, according to Page Six. Fans, meanwhile, realized Swift may have hinted at the breakup by recently swapping out the love song "Invisible String" on her Eras Tour setlist with a breakup song, "The 1." So no, we're not doing all too well.

Kim Kardashian books a 'stylish' and 'terrifying' role on 'American Horror Story'

Kim, there's people that are dying … possibly at your character's hands. Kim Kardashian has been cast in the next season of American Horror Story. Producer Ryan Murphy confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter, revealing the reality star is playing a character that was written specifically for her. This will be by far Kardashian's biggest acting role to date. "Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family," Murphy said, adding that writer Halley Feiffer "has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done." The anthology show's latest season will be based on the novel Delicate Condition, which is described as "a feminist update to Rosemary's Baby." Emma Roberts has also joined the cast after sitting out the last two seasons. Bet you thought you'd seen the last of her.

Hilary Swank, 48, welcomes twins

Hilary Swank's (million dollar) babies are here. The 48-year-old actress revealed on Instagram she has welcomed twins, her first children with husband Philip Schneider. "It wasn't easy," she wrote. "But boy (and girl!) was it worth it." Sharing a photo of herself holding the babies while looking at the sunset, she said she was "posting from pure Heaven." Swank revealed she was expecting twins in October 2022. "It's such a blessing," she said at the time. "It's a total miracle. It's unbelievable." On Good Morning America, she described becoming a mom as something she's "been wanting for a long time," also telling Extra it's "something that I've thought about even as a young girl" but that she wasn't in the "right relationship" for it before now. One of the twins is a boy and the other is a girl, which is great news for Swank considering her filmography tells us that boys don't cry.

'Stranger Things' animated series in the works at Netflix

Netflix may have finally unlocked the secret to getting the Stranger Things kids to stop aging: turn them into cartoons. A Stranger Things animated series is in the works with the show's creators, the Duffer brothers, on board to produce, Netflix confirmed Monday. "We've always dreamed of an animated Stranger Things in the vein of the Saturday morning cartoons that we grew up loving, and to see this dream realized has been absolutely thrilling," the Duffers said. Not much else is known about the series, including whether it will feature any of the characters from the original show. But Eric Robles, whose prior credits include Fanboy & Chum Chum, is involved. The Duffer brothers teased that the "scripts and artwork are incredible, and we can't wait to share more with you." It sounds like the perfect companion to some delicious Saturday morning waffles.

Lizzo responds to 'Star Wars' fans accusing her of being 'popular in school'

Perhaps it's about damn time certain Star Wars fans logged off. Lizzo recently made a surprise appearance on The Mandalorian as the duchess of a planet, getting to hang out with both Baby Yoda and Jack Black, who played her husband. But over the weekend, a tweet went viral where someone used a video of Lizzo and Black goofing around in their costumes as evidence that Star Wars "isn't for us nerds anymore" but is now "for the popular kids who giggled & high-fived the bullies for stuffing you in your locker." So on Monday, Lizzo appeared to respond to this person by tweeting that "13 year old Lizzo who got teased in the locker room & her gym clothes stolen would be shook that I'm getting accused of being 'popular in school' right now," adding that she's "really doing everything right" and the haters should "stay mad." Coincidentally, "stay mad" is also our guess for what Baby Yoda's first words will be.
