2005 KETTLEERS: Went 1-1 in 2005 for the Kettleers, appearing in 11 games... had two starts.... one save..... 26.1 innings pitched... struck out 24 but walked 22 batters... gave up 10 earned runs... had respectable 3.42 ERA.

PERSONAL: Charlie Blackmon comes to Young Harris College after a solid career at North Gwinnett High School for Coach Black.

     Charlie was drafted in the 28th round by the Florida Marlins in the 2004 Amateur Draft.
Charlie is majoring in Science/Math, and in his free time he enjoys golfing and playing Ping Pong. He loves the movie Sandlot, and he is an avid Braves fan. He is a fan of Nick Green, who Blackmon believes will be one of the next crop of great ball players.

Charlie is the son of Myron and Ellen Blackmon of Suwanee, GA.
