Production Summary
Series
three, shown in 2004 on BBC ONE and BBC THREE, followed in the success
of series two and the enormous ratings success of series one - an instant
hit with an audience peaking at 9.2 million and a 41% share. Series four
is currently in production.
Spooks also made an impressive impact on American screens when it made
its debut on the A&E Network as the renamed ‘MI5’, attracting
a 1.6 household rating – 45% up on the network’s primetime
average. The series has been sold into more than 17 other international
territories. Series one and two are both available in the UK on DVD alongside
a soundtrack CD for series one. The US MI5 DVD is also available. |
